The materials used are suggested by the company based on established requirements to ensure quality, but ultimately the customer selects and approves the materials. The warranty varies according to the original manufacturer's warranty for the parts or materials used in the product's manufacture.

SCANFORM SAS (hereinafter SCANFORM) guarantees the structural part of the workstations, boardrooms and meetings against manufacturing defects for a period of five (5) years. The warranty period will be counted from the date of the invoice that proves the purchase, this being the only valid document for presenting the claim and understanding that said period will not be applicable with respect to the products whose specific warranties are detailed below, even if they are incorporated in any of the above.

Furniture such as workstations, conference tables, and meeting tables should not be pushed, dragged, or dropped, as this can loosen or crack surfaces and bend levelers. In such cases, SCANFORM will not honor the warranty, as the damage is attributable to the customer, whether caused directly by them, by an employee or agent, or by a third party.

For the systems of locks, slides, levelers, handles, hinges, pneumatic cylinders and wheels, andThe applicable warranty period will cover the part with a manufacturing defect, not the furniture as a whole. For the purposes of this warranty, a manufacturing defect is defined as any deviation from the design specifications that may occur during the production or construction of the product and that results in a defect, fragility, or deficiency. SCANFORM guarantees its quality and proper functioning for one (1) year, starting from the date of the invoice that proves the purchase, it being understood that this warranty period is the period granted by the manufacturer of these products.

Due to the natural variations in wood veneer, slight changes in color and grain may occur. Please note that light affects wood and sunlight can discolor or alter its appearance. For this reason, SCANFORM recommends that products be stored away from such influences, as indicated in this document and the maintenance manual. In such cases, SCANFORM will not honor the warranty, as the damage is attributable to the customer, whether caused directly by the customer, by an employee or agent, or by a third party.

For furniture such as chairs and other upholstery, The warranty is three (3) years against manufacturing defects for internal parts, structures, and frames. Due to variations in our suppliers' industrial processes, SCANFORM cannot guarantee the same shade in textiles and other upholstery materials from one batch to another. Textiles have a one (1) year warranty, subject to the manufacturers' specifications. The warranty period begins on the date of the invoice, which is the only valid document for filing a claim. 

Damage or alterations to products caused by humidity or direct water exposure will not be covered by the warranty, except in cases where SCANFORM expressly states that the products are intended for outdoor use. Damage to metal structures exposed to external corrosive factors—such as wind, rain, salinity, chemical cleaning agents, and others—which typically affect the strength, durability, and appearance of these types of items, will also not be covered by the warranty.

SCANFORM reserves the right to replace or repair products that, under normal use, present any defect within the stipulated time, for which the concept of the original manufacturer of the material involved in the manufacture of the product will be taken into account.

None of the above warranties cover products damaged by negligence, misuse, abuse, accident, or modifications by third parties. Therefore, and as an integral part of the warranties, we suggest you read the maintenance manual that SCANFORM provides with the product, since SCANFORM will not honor the warranty or be liable for accelerated product deterioration or damage resulting from actions taken in violation of the provided recommendations.
